European Best Destinations Association has chosen Bohinj as one of the TOP 10 destination already in 2018, but now they also included it on the list of TOP 20 safest destinations after the covid-19 pandemic. They recognize it not just one of the safest destinations but also a highly sustainable destination. Bohinj is thus a peaceful shelter for all lovers of nature, outdoor activities, local products and authentic experiences.

HIKING

House is situated on the village outskirts so you can freely take a walk all the way down to Bohinj Lake - 6km.

-Rudnica hill (946m)
-arheological finding Ajdovki gradec - guiding can be arranged
-Šavnik
-by car to Soriška planina and hills Možic, Slatnar, Lajnar and Dravh, all bordering to Primorska region
-in north Triglav mountain range with the highest mountain in Slovenia - Triglav (2864m). You can view it directly from our house!
